About Me
Call me Kellyann. Or Kelly or Kel. But never call me between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. each morning. I’ll be writing… and grabbing more time during the day as I can. Zuzulo is a real name…my married name. I used to be a McDonnell. Erin go Bragh! F. stands for Fidelma.
I trained as a journalist at Temple University in Philadelphia and have pursued that field as a writer for Yankee Magazine, local newspapers, and national consumer and health magazines; as a book development editor; as a media relations representative; and as a director of communications for The Center for Health Care Strategies, a Robert Wood Johnson foundation.
The root of all this genie business probably started when I was managing editor of Saudi Arabia Newsletter and Quarterly, published by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, DC. I already had a healthy curiosity about myth, legend, history, and how the trio intersects and impacts cultures.
Now I write fiction about genies.
Look for me over at my website and on twitter, Facebook, MySpace and in Sapphire Blue Fan loops. I’ll look for you…
May all your days be magical!
