I’m very excited to report that Ties That Bind will be released next week by Boroughs Publishing Group. This is the third book in my 101 Nights Romantisodes, a series of romantic suspense stories about Amani and Jason. They’re newlyweds from two very different worlds. She’s a genie; he’s a scientist. Together, they have to figure out how to save her world and live in their own…a New Jersey suburban neighborhood, where local barbecues, nosy neighbors, and cul-de-sac relationships mix with international political intrigue. Please check it out! I’ve written the story so that you can jump right in with this episode to capture the thrills and chills. Or you can start now with the first two books, To Have and To Hold and Reluctant Rapture, and catch up to Amani’s and Jason’s adventures. I’ll keep you posted on the release date for Ties That Bind.
Thanks for tuning in, you guys!
Library Journal wrote that The Genie Smolders has “authenticity and depth.” Find out for yourself. You can download the novel today to your ereader.
Meanwhile, Zubis is appearing in multiple social media sites this weekend. He must have had a booster shot. Catch a ride with him.
Thanks for reading!
I’m working on the next book in the 101 Nights series.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Seems WordPress does a really cool annual report for its bloggers, which I only just discovered. What I like about this is that it tells me what topics were the most popular. Much as I would like the posts about my books for sale to have knocked your socks off, it turns out that folks like facts about the jinn. Me, too. So that’s a good thing. Rest assured I will have more posts this year about the jinn, where and how they live, and how they became a myth….because we all know they’re real ;)
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 12,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
No, this wasn’t meant to be a post about the popular Grease song. But once I got the title of the post in my head, I kept seeing Olivia Newtown-John in spraypaint-tight pants and big hair singin’ and smokin’. I don’t know about you, but I remember being so disappointed by this story. Disappointed that she caved to the pressure to be different in order to get the guy…. I thought she was cool the way she was. Nevertheless, I’ve got a story for you about a woman who knows who she is and isn’t about to change for anyone. Check out my Facebook post about it… While you’re there, give my FB page a Like, if you like.
Hi, everyone! I hope you’re having a delightful December. I’m pleased to announce that my short story, The Christmas Bottle, has been included in two anthologies for the holiday season from Boroughs Publishing Group. The Gift of Magic is a four-story compilation of romantic tales. Mine, of course, includes a genie. The genie’s name is Shai and he is Lola Baz Lopez’s only chance for happy holidays and, more importantly, for love. But it will mean extricating herself from a dark and damaged marriage.
The story also appears in a 10-tale compilation at All Romance eBooks called A Boroughs Christmas. Check out that cover. Who doesn’t love a cute kitty? Actually, I think little Meow Mix there is too shy to see how well Lola and her genie are getting along. ;)
The book tour continues! Yesterday, I was “in” Romania at Mythical Books and today I’m at Book Bliss and happy to be here! One more day left on the tour. Join in to win books!

There’s this old rundown junk yard looking place just off the bike trail. There are quite a few odds and ends lying around there, including some fancy old cars. For some reason, when I see the place, it makes me think of the Djinn. Perhaps I imagine there is an old bottle with a big strapping genie inside, waiting for a rub. Then I think of the wishes I’d be granted. How about you? Pretend I am your genie, what are your wishes?
